Finishing the Unfinished Task through...Worship

We strive for excellence, beauty and a degree of formality in our Morning Service. Our Evening Service is more informal, inviting greater participation by the congregation through prayer requests, song selection and even questions about the morning sermon. We are committed to maintaining a strong pulpit ministry characterized by searching expository preaching which glorifies God and edifies the worshiper.

Music Ministry

Music is a gift we enjoy offering back to God in worship. As God blesses our church with skilled musicians and singers their ministry becomes an important part of our worship experience. Currently we have two choirs under very capable direction:

Adult Choir
The Promises (K-6)

The choirs of First Reformed also present musical programs throughout the year.

Beginner Church

It is our conviction that children from the earliest ages ought to be learning to worship the Triune God with their families. Therefore, we offer 4s and 5s the opportunity to learn how to worship under the direction of caring and skilled leaders who introduce them to the biblical elements of worship.

Nursery

We provide a warm, clean and nurturing environment for Infants and Toddlers. Even from their earliest days in the Toddler's Room they are being taught truths from the Bible in ways that are sensitive to their development.

CD/Tape Ministry

First Reformed has always purposed to have a strong pulpit ministry. We believe the Holy Spirit makes the reading and especially the preaching of God's Word an effective means of convincing and converting the lost. Therefore, in addition to regular worship and teaching times, we also make a CD or cassette copy of all our sermons available upon request.
